You Can... Do Nothing

A HODL bot stays out of the grid about 50% of the time.

This is completely normal and The Plan says to do nothing with your bots.

Maybe read a book or go on a nice bike ride.

You Can Re-Grid Your HODL Bot

Since you're adding new funds to your HODL bot this is a great time to re-grid.

This might be a good time to go back and review the lesson on Re-gridding as well.

You Can... Do Nothing For a While

Usually when a standard bot falls below the grid for less than 7 days we give it time to correct itself.

You Should Start Considering Your Options

Okay so it's been over a week and your bot is still out of the grid.

You have 3 options here.

1. You can continue to do nothing.

This is what we do a vast majority of the time.

2. You can re-grid your bot.

Be sure and check to see if the coin pair is still wiggling even below the grid.

3. You can take the loss, close the bot and start a new coin pair.

Best to do this if you have another coin pair that's ready to go and is wiggling more than the coin pair that you currently have on.

You Should Either Re-Grid or Search For New Coin Pairs

It's been 2 weeks and your Standard Bot is still out of Range.

If your bot pair is still wiggling and it's below the grid and you believe it's hit the bottom and is going to come back up then this would be a fantastic time to re-grid.

If you're tired of the coin pair that you're running and just want to mix it up a little bit then this is as good a time as any to switch them out, if you're willing to take the loss on any negative Change %.

Also don't forget that you can simply do nothing and wait for it to come back up.
